Hotel search

Which hotel destinations does offer? offers thousands of hotels in hundreds of cities worldwide. Just enter your desired destination in the hotel search and select from the suggestions made by the system.

The destination I entered is not recognized. What can I do?

Please ensure that the destination is spelled correctly. It is possible that a location has a different spelling in German than in the national language (e.g. Breslau (German) versus Wroclaw (Polish)). If the location is still not recognized, please send an email to service [at] - we will be glad to help.

Prices and booking

What is the minimum age of the main traveler?

Full legal age. The main traveler must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking.

How many rooms can I book with

A maximum of 5 rooms can be booked within one booking.

How can I book a double room and a single room at the same time?

You can only book the same room type within any one booking, e.g. 2 double rooms or 3 single rooms. If you would like to book different room types, you have to do so within separate bookings.

Is breakfast included in the hotel prices?

Many offers include breakfast. Please refer to the description of the respective room offer.

Are taxes and fees included in the hotel prices?

Yes. Taxes and fees are included in our prices. If, in rare cases, there is an additional visitors' tax or tourism tax to be incurred, we will clearly point this out before the booking is completed.

Are there additional booking charges from

No. does not charge any booking fees or fees for payments by credit card, PayPal or other means of payment.

How do secure their low prices? offer special hotel rates that we negotiate with our partners. Often, we secure a high quota of rooms at low rates. We then pass on those savings to our customers.

Do rooms booked with differ from those on other booking sites?

Are there potential additional charges incurred at the hotel?

When booking with, all taxes and fees are included in the price. If, in rare cases, an additional visitors' tax or tourism tax is incurred and payable on-site, we clearly point this out before completion of the booking. Not included are any additional billable hotel services that are made use of on-site (e.g. restaurant, use of the minibar or telephone calls).

When do I receive my booking confirmation?

Immediately. Promptly after completing the booking, you receive a booking confirmation via email containing your booking code. The email also contains a link to your personal hotel voucher and your invoice.

How do I access my voucher and how do I print it?

Immediately after your booking you can easily download and print your hotel voucher. Your email booking confirmation also contains a link to your voucher so you can print it again at any time.

What happens if my name is spelled incorrectly on the hotel voucher?

In this case, please send an email to service [at] stating your booking code. We will take care of the correction immediately. For security reasons, it is important that the name on your hotel voucher is the same as the name on your passport or identity card.

Can I add further rooms to my booking?

Unfortunately not. Please make a new booking for the same hotel.

How do I change a booking?

In this case, please send an email to service [at] stating your booking code. We will take care of the correction immediately.

How do I make a booking that includes children?

Please send an email to service[at] and tell us the desired dates of arrival and departure, the hotel, room type, number of adults, number of children, their age at the time of departure and whether you want separate beds for the children or whether they share beds with adults. If you have already gathered information on this subject, please add this information also. We will then immediately clarify whether there are any additional costs to be expected and contact you.


Which payment methods are accepted by

Currently, accepts payment by credit card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express) and PayPal. We will soon add other means of payment such as direct debit. For the latter case, please contact

Is it possible to pay at the hotel?

Yes, a variety of hotels offer payment on-site. Please look out for the notice "payment at the hotel" in the room selection on the hotel profile page. To make a reservation, a valid credit card must be used as collateral.

When will my credit card or PayPal account be charged?

The charge to your credit card or your PayPal account occurs immediately after booking.

Can I use someone else's credit card if I don't own one myself?

Yes, this is possible. However, of course the credit card holder must agree to the use of the credit card.

Does charge fees for payments via credit card or PayPal?

Can I request an invoice online?

You can conveniently download and print your invoice by logging in on under "My booking" using your booking code and your last name.

Can I request more than one invoice for a booking?

One invoice is created for every booking. If you want to book multiple rooms and require separate invoices for each room, please make multiple separate bookings. If all the rooms can be settled through one invoice, one booking will suffice.

Arrival and departure

What happens when I arrive very late on my planned day of arrival?

Don't worry. Many hotels allow late check-in. To be sure, we recommend enquiring directly with the hotel to find out until what time the reception will be open on the evening of arrival.

What do I need for checking in at the hotel?

The main traveler requires a valid identity card or passport. In addition, many hotels require a valid credit card as collateral. In some hotels the security deposit can be paid by cash or debit card. If you have further questions, please contact the hotel directly.

Can I extend my stay?

How do I cancel a booking?

Please log in on under "My booking" using your booking code and your last name. You can then conveniently proceed with your cancelation online.

How do I get a refund after cancelation?

In the case of reimbursable offers, the refundable amount will be directly credited back to your credit card. You need to do nothing except canceling your booking.

What does it mean when a cancelation date displayed in a booking lies in the past?

If, e.g. when booking on 12/15/2013 under cancelation it says "cancelation possible until Friday, 12/13/2013 12pm (CET)", this means that the deadline for canceling free of charge has already passed. Thus, a cancelation of the hotel stay will not return a full refund.
